Superintendent

The Superintendent is a highly organized and motivated team member with the ability to manage multiple projects, and employees while promoting company growth. The Superintendent will work with senior management and project managers/foreman to oversee the day-to-day onsite operations of multiple construction projects from preconstruction to close-out.  This Superintendent will procure materials, handle scheduling, and the directing of work crews, equipment, subcontractors, and materials with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, and production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting civil drawings and blueprints
  • Proficient with computers, office 365, and all relevant construction software
  • Ability to work extended hours and some weekends
  • Well-versed in safety guidelines, regulations, and applicable laws
  • Proficient in scheduling crews, subcontractors, and materials
  • Ability to identify project risks or hazards and provide forward-thinking solution

Foreman

The Utility Foreman is responsible for direct in-field supervision of a field crew working on all phases of construction, maintenance, and repair operations including hiring, training, discipline, and safety, to ensure the projects are completed on time and within budget.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understands the means and methods of construction associated with earthwork, site utility, concrete construction, and pipe installation (proficient understanding of the installation of water, sewer, and storm drainpipe)
  • Ability to sequence work and strategically create effective project/manpower schedules
  • Effectively staff or self-performed work activities to achieve set goals
  • Provide clear directions to avoid repetitive mistakes or re-work
  • Directs work progress of subcontractors on job sites
  • Ensures subcontractors are meeting goals
  • Ensure all crew members receive proper training and guidance before starting work

Estimator

We are seeking a well-qualified Estimator/Project Manager to perform take-offs, prepare project estimates and bids, create project schedules, procure and manage materials and subcontractors, and oversee projects.
