Project Overview
Construction of the 24″ Raw Water Intake and Raw Water Pump Station for the City of Roswell Water Treatment Plant Expansion. J.G. Leone preformed the contract as a Subcontractor for Layne Heavy Civil. The project consisted of the construction of a cofferdam in the Big Creek Reservoir, construction of the 24″ Raw Water Intake Screen complete with foundations and Stainless Steel air scour pipping, construction of a cast-in-place triplex pump station, design, and construction of a rock anchor foundation system for the pump station and associated sheet pile cofferdams and dewatering.
