“The Georgia Department of Natural Resources Engineering and Construction Section & Walden Ashworth and Associates (EOR) oversaw the construction, performed daily inspections, handled geotechnical testing, andcoordinated daily with JGL. J.G. Leone Enterprises maintained a great level of communication throughout theproject and worked very well with our management team, our EOR and our Geotechnical Engineers. JGL stayed proactive throughout the project and kept the site safe and clean through one of the wettest winters on record. A significant amount of select suitable fill was required which presented challenges for the State to accommodate fromonsite. JGL stayed proactive and maintained efficiency through these challenges as we ultimately had to borrow from multiple locations within the State Park. JGL demonstrated a strong ability to adapt to challenges.
