Project Overview
Depot Park: Construction of a new park facility including approximately 3,200 linear feet of 12′ multiuse trail, 3 pedestrian bridges, electrical system, and lighting. Construction of a new 80-space parking lot including storm drain system, curb and gutter, and paving.
Smith Gilbert Garden: Phase 1 site development for the new garden visitor center. The project included clearing, mass excavation, installation of storm drainage system including two large underground detention systems, three retention walls one of which is also the foundation wall for the proposed visitor center, site utilities, construction of 75 space parking lot, ornamental fencing, and gates. JGL was able to work with the Owner through several design changes, Value Engineering, and the elimination of work to bring the project in under budget and reduce the project cost by $545,000.00 from the Contract Bid Price.
